Modeling and Air Activities

The Air League is not all about drill and education, it is also about making things like models and going for flights with Air Activities based at Camden.

As a Squadron we are recognized for our high level of models made and the quality. The squadron does 2 types of models which are plastic and balser. Each cadet is able to make their own model and paint them also. There are badges that cadets can earn from making models. Most models that the cadets make are entered in the Group and Federal competitions where many have received awards for their models.

Air Activities is the Air Leagues training center, for NSW it is based at Camden Airport and trains cadets to gain their pilots licences and help start a career in aviation. Many cadets have recieved training and their private pilots licences through the Air Activities center and there are still many that have planned to start training. Air Activies not only trains cadets in power aircraft they also provide glider training to receive thier gliders licences.
